How much are the actors paid on a scifi show like Supernatural? How much are guest stars paid? If you recognize them, then they must be paid more. What is some hot chick paid for being Sam or Dean's demon love interest for the week?

I would guess SAG scale...I don't think genre or role have anything to do with it.
For some reason the figure of $20,000 always comes to mind when I think of actual billed guest stars
God, if that is even close to being true, I would have loved to be Andrew Robinson or that Weyoun guy back in DS9 days.
Hell - I'd even be that Kim Strauss guy on Babylon 5. He was hardly ever in the MAIN credits but even if he got half that, considering he was in just about every third episode playing some alien race of the week, he'd have cleaned up good!!!

I seriously doubt even the leads on B5 got paid 20 grand per episode.
On average, each episode of B5 cost $800,000, if I remember correctly, while Trek of the same era was $2 million plus.
It's in the Babylon File book at home, where Pat Tallman talks about them wanting her to show up on Crusade for a guest starring role, and they were only going to pay her eight hundred bucks for a guest spot on one episode.
And I am pretty sure I remember Claudia Christian talking about making around five thousand dollars for each episode she was in.
