My son and I have become hooked on this show. http://natgeotv.com/uk/science-of-stupid It's basically all the injurious epic fail videos we love so much, combined with the science behind the fails. My son is 12, and he's learning important lessons about momentum, gravity, centrifugal force, traction, and so forth. Anyone else watch this? If you have kids of the right age, they might enjoy it. And get some valuable lessons along the way.
Very neat idea! I worried about this happening to Lucy Lawless in Xena every time she did this. http://natgeotv.com/uk/science-of-stupid/videos/fire-breathers
I thought so too. My son loves it. We always watch "World's Dumbest..." and stuff like that (not very highbrow, I know...). He really gets into the science part of it. Now he'll watch a clip of something and say "His center of gravity is too high! He's going to tip over!"
I enjoyed the clips at the website so much I went youtube surfing to find more and I think those did carry the Discovery tag. I loved the ep on parkour running/stunting.
