Sci-Fi vs Fantasy

That looks pretty good. The art and SFX are quite colorful and exotic, just the way I like it. Unfortunately, a couple of the links on the main page are broken.

Cool. I bet you just caught the page while I was updating it.

And yeah, (Re: colors) I'm just not a grimdark guy, though that's where sci-fi art seems to be trending.

It's been trending that way for thirty years, at least in movies and TV. The literature still has decent variety to it, thank goodness. I have low tolerance for the grim and gritty stuff-- it was the "sense of wonder" that got me first interested in SF back in the 60s, not the "sense of dreariness and explosions" that we have now. Your CGI models look just as cool as the artwork, so if you've got a script that's at the same level you could have a real winner here.

I dig smooth shapes and pretty colors. In fact I tend to over-saturate rather than desaturated or underexpose, the opposite of say, David Fincher (who I have an infinite amount of respect for.)

Script is here: http://crossovercomic.com/media/extras/pilot/screenplay/XO_Screenplay_v0033.txt

The screenplay is much better than the comic book was. I've been polishing and workshopping it for five years now, and it's just about to the storyboarding/pre-vis stage.

I'm actually sending that copy off to a reader's theater today for upcoming rehearsals. Once I've heard it spoken aloud I'll write the final draft.

Very attractive! :bolian:

Thanks :) Where do you stand on the colorful vs grim debate?

^^ Cool. I will try to take a look at that over the (long for me) weekend.

I'm reworking that intro video btw, to show things like the ship actually crashing, which is conspicuously absent at present. Any other feedback for the next draft?

I like it fine, but some kind of voice over might be more engaging for the casual browser.
