Sci-Fi US: Entire Sarah Jane S1 Run on Tuesday

I was skimming the TV listings and found a treat: Tuesday, December 16th on USA Sci-Fi Channel 8am: Dr Who The Runaway Bride 930am to 4pm: the entire first season of Sarah Jane Adventures starting with the Invasion of the Bane pilot That is precisely 8 hours of run time. Which means I can set a fresh tape on SLP and get the entire run for free! :D
 
Yeah, I know Sci-Fi cuts out a minute or two. But it's free versus spending 50-100 dollars :p The worst offender was "Last of Time Lords" apparently they cut out like 20 minutes of material or something!!!
 
If I recall correctly the BBC did extend that episode, but then im pretty sure they did the same for Jounerys End
 
That's the thing, the S3 and S4 finales were super-sized. Sci-Fi did air "Journey's End" in a 90 minute slot so we didn't miss anything, but they gutted "Last of the Time Lords" to fit into the 60 minute slot (which means 42 minutes after commercials!).

I saw the Sarah Jane Adventures DVD set for $34.99 at Best Buy.
 
^ to be fair those last 12 minutes (if I recall correctly) were added last minute, so I would guess the BBC had a 60 minute version they were pretty much happy with.
 
Yeah "Voyage of the Damned" felt pretty padded as it was so lord knows what was in those 12 minutes.
