SCFI's #1 Hero

Captain Kirk usually was near the top of this list when naming some of SCIFI's most famous heros. I wonder if he still would top that list and if now who do you think would be on the top five list as 'heros' of scifi/fantasy? Han Solo? Kirk? Ripley? Termantor? Captain EO?

No, Trek was been out of the pic ever since the end of TNG especially since the end of DS9 and TNG movies. You guys are right about Ford

Nope..do not agree with you. Twenty or Thirty years ago Spock may have topped Kirk...but no longer. Captain Kirk, in the here and now, IMO, because of Shatner's ability to remain relevant, is why KIRK has long since eclipsed spock..OHHHHHH the Shatner bashers won't want to admit it, and I understand...but it is what it is...

I'd have to agree with Luke Skywalker. Though he may not be at the top of my list, I can't escape the fact that he fits the bill of classic hero in every possible way. As for my personal choice, for some reason John Sheridan comes to mind, another hero in every sense of the word. I'll also throw an honorable mention Ellen Ripley's way as well.
