    Nice to have a full scene! Interesting choice to have Mariner being intoxicated. I wonder if that will be a recurring thing throughout the episode or even the series or just this one scene.

    OK, I now like the fake Captain´s log sequence a little bit more when I know what it leads into ...

    I might still prefer what these two guys did.

    And Romulans shouldn´t have whiskey. It would make more sense with Klingons or Bajorans.

    Not sure about "proud," but I know that Gene struggled with substance abuse and Leonard Nimoy was a reformed alcoholic.

    I have observed that many people display a double standard when it comes to women being visibly drunk. That's why I think it's an interesting choice to have her being drunk. Pisses of the right kind of people, I bet. :bolian:

    They got drunk once, in Explorers. The other times you can get around it by saying it was synthaholic beverages.
