Salome Jens as a Talosian?

Wasn't sure if this belonged here or on the TOS board

Had Talos IV been revisited in a Trek film, TNG, or DS9 I think Salome Jens would've been ideal casting as a Talosian

Like ENT's Sphere Builders, TOS' Talosians are another ST species SCREAMING OUT for Miss Jens to play one

Maybe she still can, depending on J.J. Abrams' success with STAR TREK XI

Playing a Talosian would perfecfly complement, or maybe supplement, her TNG role as the Prehistoric Humanoid, & her unforgettable role as the Femme-Odo on DS9

PS: Salome Jens was also in the great science fiction film “Seconds” (1966), starring Rock Hudson.

Y'know, I wrote down her name on something when I was a kid, because I saw her in a movie and was really impressed for some reason and wanted to remember her name.

It would have been a long time ago, and the movie would have been an afternoon matinee rerun on TV. I was thinking it was "The Story of Ruth," but I can't find where that was her, and another actress starred.

Oh I forgot about her in that one, she's a lot younger. I second that opinion, see "Seconds" that's one that could use a flash new remake though, interesting story but I 'd like to see how a modern dirctor would handle it....not that i don't love those old film-noir movies.

Salome Jens (born May 8, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American actress.
She is perhaps best-known for portraying the Female Changeling on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She also appeared in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation as an "Ancient humanoid", a member of the race responsible for populating the galaxy with humanoid life forms.

To see a young Salome Jens, I also recommend the original Outer Limits episode "The Corpus Earthling"...

But, I agree...she would make a great Talosian! Too bad we never saw them again.
