Sad News From the Marital Arts World

For the handful(?) of us who participate or enjoy martial arts, this was pretty sad news. Jhoon Rhee, the Grandmaster credited with bringing Taekwon-Do to the United States, passed away today.

I've been in and out of the art over the years, but I've always enjoyed learning and doing it.

Oh, wow. I know I'm very late here, but my condolences to his family.

Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do was the style that my kids and I studied several years ago. We enjoyed it but left it when we moved to another state and couldn't find a Jhoon Rhee school.
