Running Wilde and The Good Guys Cancelled by FOX

Yeah, it was an interesting throwback to buddy cop shows... both serious but also self-effacing.
Terriers, in a way, is very much like it - but rather than be comedic, they took it in a serious direction. Of course, this also means that no one is watching that as well. :lol

Two good cop shows that aren't about psychics/supercops or Law and Order... both on Fox related networks and both probably going down the drain. Figures.

Biggest tragedy is Keri Russell's return to TV was so short-lived.

Shorter than her Felicity Season 2 haircut. (*ZING* Dated reference joke!:p)

I've been realizing lately that I'm still totally in love with that woman. I need her in a possibly biblical fashion.

Beyond that, I thought Running Wilde was pretty funny. It wasn't quite up there with Action, Arrested Development, & Sit Down Shut Up but it was getting there. I loved the "Unnecessesoire."

I am! I love Terriers. Best new show of the fall season, in my opinion.

^ It's a long shot, no doubt about it, but I think FX might still be keeping the possibility open. According to Shawn Ryan via Twitter, FX is actively soliciting fan opinions on why the show should be renewed. Also in its favor, albeit admittedly still a remote chance, is that last week's episode saw a 50% jump in ratings.

Internet critics have been trying to push Terriers as much as possible and I hope it succeeds. I'm not sure what the expectations are at FX though... certainly not as high as Fox proper, but maybe they were expecting "The Shield" ratings.

But yeah, the name might have been the downfall of the show. I get why they used it, but when I first heard of the show I thought it was about dogs as well.

Too bad about The Good Guys. The pilot was a bit iffy but it turned into a nice little show..nothing great but it was fun. Bradley Whitford did such a great job as Dan Stark. It was a total cliche of a character but he was a hoot. And Jenny Wade is quite the hottie.
