Rumour is Tom Hardy becoming new Mad Max

Is it true that Tom Hardy ( Preator Shinzon in Star Trek : Nemesis ) was casted as Max in Mad Max remake project ? I also heard that Charlize Theron was also involved too....

After Bronson and this, hopefully Hardy will have paid penance for Nemesis.

Funny. I always thought that he was also decent in Nemesis too , one of the few good things in that banal and mediocre movie. But of course that is just me. Bronson was all right , I liked it. He was also in "Band of Brothers" miniseries too wasn't he ?

Yeah, I've got nothing to complain about Shinzon's acting in Nemesis either. People who have to redeem themselves here are Stuart Baird and John Logan. Sure, Shinzon was an one-dimensional comic book villain, but given the script Hardy did the best he could with the material.
