Roxann Dawson, who works primarily as a director, appeared as a guest star on The Closer on Aug 22, in the episode Family Affair. She played a police officer from Phoenix who asks Major Crimes to investigate her daughter's death. Very nice work, especially at the end. Fun to see her w/o the ridges.
