So, once again into the well. The thesis on the system is done and the MS is in my pocket. The contract is in place and the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) has been built and is waiting for me and others to arrive. This mid-sized work ROV (2m x 2m x 1.5m)is going to be used for picking objects off the bottom and in a really nice place next spring. I am really looking forward to the training this week. I'll be driving down to a big east coast city for the training, where blue crabs and crab cakes are a staple. The hardest part of the training will be standardizing the check lists that will be needed for the field op, but that is not a real big deal. Back home on Friday.
I'll post a few photos later this week.
