On this day, the late and great Bernard Hill has passed. Such a fantastic actor, most likely known to most of all as Theaden, the King Of Rohan. He will be missed.

While I tend to remember him from LOTR mostly, Boys from the Black Stuff, The Grid and Titanic are also roles I think of when his name is mentioned. I believe he's also in the second series of a show that happens to be airing here tonight too (THe Responder)

Definitely a good actor.
