She says some nice, if not unexpected, things about the deceased Trek icon and provides an update on her current career (she sells real estate near Syracuse).

Thanks for posting that; it was interesting. I loved the line that a Vulcan should have "a thousand years of wisdom behind the eyes."

What I'm wondering is, how the heck does an actor PORTRAY a thousand years of wisdom behind the eyes?

Based on a couple of things Ive read about her here and there it appears she's back near where she grew up. Sounds like she's happy and successful. That's a nice change of pace from so many 'where are they now' acting stories.

Her real estate office is in Fayetteville, which is the sister town of the town I live in Manlius. Fayetteville and Manlius shares a school district.

OOOOOOO.....She works for Berkshire-Hathaway. I bet she's doing all right financially.

I wonder if she's taken clients on a home tour and the people have asked her things "Is it logical for the washer/dryer to be located where it is." Or "Does is the house soundproofed well so when I start to experience Pon Farr the neighbors can't hear me screaming."

I doubt it, yet wouldn't be surprised if this kind of stuff happened from time to time.

Or if she points out where a big screen TV can go a client goes "Oh that's good I love to watch old episodes of "Cheers', especially when Kristie Alley joined the cast, she is such a good actress."
