I hadnt seen this pic before... I know a lot of you probably have, but I thought I would post it here anyhoo's!

I agree, his eyes are still so warm :)

I'm sure a lot of the cast looks different now, as propita said, everyone gets older and it has been 8 years since Voyager ended.

I think he looks great. :D Love the hair..and his eyes are indeed warm. Could do without the goatee though. :D We do indeed all age..hey yall should see Robert Beltran now! :D

He looks like such a nice guy, but that kind of facial hair is my least fave style...gotta go!

Well, everyone gets older. But his eyes are
still the same.

I like the curls/waves.

I know we all get older... I didnt say anything nasty in my post to insinuate otherwise  ?!?

Thats why i love finding photos of the cast as time goes one, to see what they look like now! I love this pic! He looks so warm and friendly!

I just mentioned the time thing in case anyone did say something negative, you didn't! I agree with you - he looks lovely! :)

I recall seeing that picture some time ago, so even that one isn't particularly recent.

Even toward the end of Voyager he was already looking a bit older and a bit less boyish. The hair and beard is all the difference in that picture.

He he. So funny to see him in that video (on that blog). He's always gonna be good old Tom in my eyes. :D

He's lost the curls recently.

Still adorable in my eyes.

And I really don't see a point to these posts...even if put out in the most benign way possible, you know they're going to attract unkind comparisons about old appearance versus new.

Well, I disagree. I love seeing recent pictures of the cast, and I always appreciate it when people find pics and post them. I just ignore the unkind comments. Nearly every thread in here has some mean comment about 'something'... I just ignore and read on.

Sorry. I didn't think you had said anything nasty. You had a nice post and a nice picture of him. As everyone pretty much seems to agree.

I also enjoy seeing recent pictures of the cast as time goes on. I wouldn't mind seeing you post various ones from time to time here.

Yes, thanks for the link. Without the curls and beard, it's so definitely him.

And "unkind" comparisons? Hey, we all get older and it'll show. Some (like him) just happen to look better doing so than others (like me).

I'm glad he's working - so many of our TrekStars get sucked down into that typecast hole and we never hear from them again - other that SciFi Cons. It's so much better when they can support themselves on their own merits in their given craft. We love to see them and think their mere existence is justified by their Trek status but the entertainment industry's standards seem to be e little tighter.

Exhibit One - Garrett Wang

I looked up a picture of Beltran today. I think he looks better than he did with the salt and pepper look in early VOY.

And he`s working too.
He was on stage at ACT San Francisco in May 2009 and he got wonderful reviews:
" great performence...", "He did wonder with his role..."; "Robert Beltran's performance seems to fill the stage,..." and so on.
And one writer summed it up with:
"I don't know what is ahead for Robert, but I was reminded that he is a far better actor than some of the Sci-Fi movies might have suggested."
