I don't know if this has been posted anywhere else here, but for those who may not be aware.

TV’s Batgirl Yvonne Craig Dies at 78

Yvonne Craig, the actress best known for her role as Batgirl in the 1960’s “Batman” TV series, died on Monday. She was 78.

Craig passed away at her home in Pacific Palisades surrounded by her family, according to her spokesman. She had been suffering from breast cancer that metastasized to her liver.

Craig also played Martha, the green Orion Slave Girl who wanted to kill Captain Kirk, in the third season of “Star Trek.”

I remember her of course from the TOS episode "Whom Gods Destroy," and always felt she helped tremendously in rendering it watchable. She was certainly the best Orion Slave Girl ever seen during the run of TOS. At least in my opinion.

She was a beautiful woman, even when green.

As reported she is survived by her family, and may they all find peace.

Yep, they'res actually two different threads from earlier in the month.

You're a tad bit late.

It didn't occur to me you would be keeping score. However I just found the news today and decided to express my thoughts, as I found her a charming woman.

Let's just call this one even, you each got shots in on the other.

The hot linked images are changed to links.

Sistrin, while I can appreciate your desire to remember Ms. Craig's passing and understand that you may not have seen the already existing memorial threads, there are already two established threads to commemorate her passing. I'm going to close this one and ask you all express your condolences in one of those threads..
