Veteran actor Scott Wilson, best known to TV audiences as Hershel Greene on The Walking Dead, died Saturday. He was 76.

TMZ reports that Wilson died due to complications from leukemia.

He was very memorable as Marg Helgenberger's character's father on CSI. I liked him in everything I saw him do.

Loved him in walking dead. Like many other deaths in the show could not sleep much after that episode. I remember reading his bio and watched him on talking dead. What a seemingly nice man!
