Damn, that's terrible. Brain cancer is the worst. 
And here I was just thinking about how he was due to show up in Better Call Saul.

I think most of the stuff I remember him from is rather older (Though even then, he'd already done a fair bit)

I only recently watched Alligator for the first time. He really elevated a lot of these otherwise trashy B-movies.
He was brilliant in Jackie Brown.

He had so much gravitas on screen. He was who they originally wanted to play Harry Truman in Twin Peaks, that’s why he got the role of his brother decades later.
