Ray Stevenson, an actor who appeared in “RRR” and the “Thor” films, died Sunday, his publicist Nicki Fioravante confirmed to CNN.

Stevenson was 58.

No additional information about the cause of his death was immediately available.

This is really sad. 58 is way too young to die. It will be sad watching the Ahsoka series knowing he’s no longer with us.

I saw this news in the Ahsoka thread and I'm still in shock. His death seems so sudden.

I've been a big fan of his ever since I first saw him in King Arthur (which I still think is a lot of fun despite its flaws). I may have to go watch it again tonight since it's on Paramount+.

Really sad to read this. Have liked him since Rome and was looking forward to see him in Ahsoka. I only recently realised that he was born in Lisburn, near Belfast, so he’s sort of one of our own.

Yeah, it was a real gutpunch to hear of his sudden death while still very young (I think an allergic reaction to something triggered his heart attack).

Larger than life and fairly fit as fiddle looking too (like with Lance Reddick, you'd never know).
