Found out about this via David Hewlett's Twitter account. Such sad news, 'cause I <3'ed the music from Stargate.

Much of Stargate's identity comes from Joel Goldsmith's music. It's as integral to the shows as the Stargate itself. It always was nice that no matter what changed in Stargate, we always had his music. RIP.
