RIP Bob Newhart at 94

Loved both of Bobs Shows. Still catch them on TV all the time. Then of course we had him introduced to another whole new generation with the Film Elf and then The Big Bang theory.

Newhart, especially after Michael, Stephanie, Larry and the Daryls joined was just a perfect sitcom. And the ending will go down in history as the greatest sitcom (if not greatest series) finale ever. RIP Bob

Rest In Peace. My parents had his first two records (The Button-Down Mind & The Button-Down Mind Strikes Back!), so I first heard him in 1960 before I saw him. The first time I saw him was in the movie Hell Is for Heros (1962), where he performed his comedy skit of a one way conversation on a Pill Box phone line the US GI's know the Germans had tapped.
