Ring Ship Enterprise - Update 1

Been a few weeks since I posted....I only have the chance to work on this on the weekend!! I have nearly finished up the sub-light engines to my satisfaction...though a little alignment and lighting have to be tweaked.

Each of the 4 engines are 42 feet across, thats the entire elliptical module. I had the idea of nesting a landing vehicle in the space formed by the ring of exhaust vents. Not something that has a docking bay, but something that attaches via docking ring.

The text reads, "Danger High Velocity Particles Beyond This Point"

NOTE: I did just now notice the brass machinery encroaching on the blue heat dissipater..

Give me you thoughts and ideas please!

Coool. I like the modern take on the design, especially considering we never see a sketch of the rear.

Were looking at the rear, basically put, the camera angle in the render is under to top side of the ring facing forward.

Am i right?

You are correct, I've left the warp nacelles out of this shot so the impulse engines are in full view. This is an aft view. The sstructure going up in hte bottom image is the pylon that connect the warp nacelles to the rest of the ship.
