Rewrite a Movie

Alright, just for fun say you could change something about a movie, like who starred in it, or directed it, or whatever. How do you see the movie being different?

If Joss Whedon had directed Start Trek instead of Abrams, you would have had Uhura, Nurse Chapel, and Yeoman Rand travelling through space, kicking butt and fighting the evil demonic alien forces and their attempts to infilitrate and overthrow the peaceful government of the Federation. Kirk, Spock, Bones, etc. are simply there to offer guidance, friendship, and awkward romantic gestures.

Ok, think about the movie Fight Club. Now think about the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Now imagine that Cameron has created Ferris Bueller in his mind as a more charismatic, interesting, personable version of himself.

So now the movie is about a kid name Cameron who, similar to Edward Norton's character in Fight club, has lost his mind and is getting into all kinds of crazy antics as a made up persona.

If Joel Schumacher had directed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.... Well, I think we all know how that would have turned out. :(

They made that. Its called "Youth in Revolt" starring Scott Pilgrim's Michael Cera.

Take Michael Bay's Transformers, rip out Sam Witwicky and everything related to that, and make it about Lennox and his crew teaming up with Optimus Prime and the Autobots to fight the Decepticons.

Hahah, good point. I haven't seen that yet, but I've been meaning to. I'm not really that big of a Michael Cera fan. He plays the same shy, dopey character who gets involved with a girl who is a lot more outgoing and personable than he is. Then he worries about stuff. He's sorta like the Woody Allen for a new generation.
