Revolution

In the thread on Virtuality someone mentioned that the pilot for Revolution had aired on Sky Premiere. I found this other thread that seems to confirm the airing. Does anyone have idea if SyFy plans to air the pilot at any point? Do you think this airing makes a future series more or less likely?

I think the show is dead and they burned it off in other countries just for the hell of it.

I don't think there's any chance it'll get revived, I think SyFy just burned off and sold rights to have it air internationally as a movie. I think at some time SyFy will probably show it as a 2 hour movie at some point. They produced that first Riverworld movie as a pilot, but didn't go forward with the show and eventually showed the movie.

Now I think they're doing a new show of Riverworld.

Seems likely that we can at least see the pilot, eventually...I'm still curious about it.

I was intrigued by the idea, too. I remember first hearing about it several years ago, as a movie in development. Sometime in the past couple years, the concept was transformed into a potential TV show. Either way, I'd like to see it.

I tried typing in "Revolution" in google, youtube....various, *ahem* other places...with a name so generic it was IMPOSSIBLE to find ANYTHING about this...*sigh*...
