Revolution. (Soilers)

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
I'm ten minutes into the pilot, and it's very well made, well cast, still have to see how the writing goes.

A hanging offence to own a fire arm?

One of those soldiers owns/uses a musket?

That's some rough martial law.

There is no way that Elizabeth Mitchell is dead.

It doesn't matter how awful V was, you just don't waste her talent on a few flashbacks now and then...

they use cars are plant pots.

(chuckle!)

Fring has said about twice as much dialogue as he had on 3 seasons of breaking Bad.

It's very Tripods.

Control the technology to control the people.

The wardrobe is interesting if you consider millions if not billions died in the first few years, that there would be high end well made products every were and eventually left unguarded which s why the lead characters leather jacket sort reminds me of what the termanatrix was wearing in T3.

So half of them are dressed like fashion models from charmed and others like extas from little house on the prarie.

the flooding of th city looks amazing.

Rigly Field. covered in weeds.

Men everywhere crying for the death of baseball.

So it's all about turning the power back on.

(Duh.)

Uncle Miles makes for a good Han Solo.

That's some great 5 minutes of swashbuckling.

Wow everything is connected.

Oh.

And there's a corker of a plot twist at the end.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

When I started writing Sojourn, that thread didn't exist.

"Sigh"

I'm really curious what typos are going to be on my gravestone, not that massgraves are supposed to be marked.

Well, considering the comment about the lack of toilet paper they're dealing with, soilers sounds about right..

I watched and really enjoyed the pilot, but as some have stated in the other thread, I'm interested to know why some things not electrically powered are not working... The comment about a "Change in physics" needs to be expanded upon, which I'm assuming it will.

Since the math teacher has a working computer, perhaps those pendrives create an area of nullification, which means that whatever caused the black out is continuously and still happening, from perhaps a series of satelites? Or maybe a nanite cloud infestioning everything?

Yup, Paradise. Is it distrubing that after all this time, I remembered the name immediately and didn't even get it mixed up with Paradise Lost? ;)
