That was actually a funny episode of SNL. Poor Shatner got himself into alot of trouble with some of the fans that night. I know what you're all thinking: "Get a life!"

another bit of continuity. The guy who played Sulu in this was the samr guy who played Sulu in the famous SNL Trek skit with John Belushi where Star Trek gets cancelled.

He played Sulu yet again in the "Love Boat: The Next Generation" skit, from when Patrick Stewart hosted.
