Resolutions

I was always told that a Zoo in a Australia was a place where professional rugby players go to interfere with sheep.

I made the entire world's life hell the day I discovered Zoo is not a word that is in the dictionary.

It's been a dogs age since I played a game of Scrabble with an adult.

If I couldn't put that word down in scrabble I would be enraged.

I apparently didn't take any spider monkey photos when I went to the zoo this summer but I did take pics of the lemurs which run right up to you, you can touch them except you aren't allowed to!

It's an abbreviation for Zoological Society, which is a couple words starting with capital letters.

Newer dictionaries are leaning more to your mode of thought.

We have gazillions. GAZILLIONS.

In my defence, I do live in Brisbane. The only zoo we have is an Australian zoo - as in, Australian animals only. Last I heard they might be shutting down. Apparently Aussies have no interest in Australian animals.

I'm coming down to Melbourne in a couple of months to see Les Miserables. (just had to add that.. I can't wait). Maybe I'll pop into the zoo for a couple of hours while I'm there. See some real animals. It can count as bonding time with my niece.

Jean Valjean was a victim of the American three strikes law...

Yes it's true, Australians are done with all those trashy roos and other pouch things, so 1970. We are ready for the cool stuff now. I always go and look at the aus section because the HUGE red roos and emus are just lolling around right next to you, you just walk around them, no cage or barrier. This is cool to me and I do not want to do this with tigers. But I have noticed that 99% of the people in that section are tourists from other countries.

Anyway when you come down jazamul don't miss out on lemur island which is where my photo is from. You walk around this huge area full of paths and bridges and the lemurs are running right in front of you on the path, you are surrounded by them. It is awesome.
