Remember there's a DW bit in Children In Need tonight

Somewhere between 19:30 and 20:00.

We don't know what form it'll take - the other minisode classified to go on the Day of the Doctor DVD, a different minisode, just a trailer or clip, or some other thing - but there is a DW bit in the telethon, as has become traditional.

So, its the Night Of the Doctor, the Children in Need special scene and The Last Day? Or is the last one going to be shown today?

Apparently The Guardian is saying it's a longer trailer tonight - maybe the Comic-Con or Edinburgh one.

That's certainly a creative way for the two Doctors to meet.

And I like that the eleventh Doctor remembers this from his younger self's perspective.

Whenever I see Eleven and now Ten with the Fez, I always remember the Seveneth with it, for some reason. Did Silver Nemesis ruin me?

Which means the end won't result in some timey whimey reset where 10 never remember meeting 11.

Nice

So, what was shown?

Was it a minisode?

The embedded video above is blocked for Copyright (Is that region locked, or just protective of the content being spread around?)

So, what was shown?

A 2-minute clip from "The Day of the Doctor," starting with Kate Stewart, the Doctor, and Clara investigating an odd event in a museum (and the Doctor stealing a fez), and ending with the first moment when the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors lay eyes on each other.

They should have shown the McGann episode instead.

Speaking of which, the BBC seem rather rattled / excited by the sheer volume of attention the McGann episode has generated. Anyone see some more appearances in the not too distant future ?

Still kinda bugs me that Ten wasn't in one of his normal suits during that minisode.

Although I didn't notice before the 80s style music during some of that, which was a nice touch.

I didn't notice he wasn't wearing one of his costumes of yesteryear. I thought he made it explicit he did.

And some delightful folks over at Gallifrey Base (I joined, but I don't post - just curious about some spoilers and the like) complain that they "had to sit through 29 minutes of Children In Need program" to get to this boring 2 minute scene. I mean, clearly, human decency and manners are all gone.

How can anyone possibly get bored by TWO MINUTES OF VIDEO?

I'm not on Gallifrey Base and am glad of it. They have obviously missed the point of Children In Need and also had their hearts removed if that is their attitude.

I regret logging up after that, myself.
