They touched off a brief wave of speculation about the uniforms being hidden under rain ponchos, etc. Jennifer Morrison was among the actors, and it looks now as if it was the location shoot for the Kelvin evacuation, and those are all Kelvin-era Starfleet uniforms.

Based on a recent interview with Pine, is probably Cadet Kirk sneaking out of the soundstage to take a leak against a wall because the A.D. wouldn't authorize him a bathroom break.
