Remember Dr.Elizabeth Dehner?

Hey guys...I just wanted to share this. Dorktrek.com interviewed Mary Czerwinski AKA Televixen. She is vying for the role of Dr. Elizabeth Dehner in the new J.J. Abrams sequel Startrek 2. Check it out!

At the risk of sounding biased, it does make some sense to cross-post the item here as Dehner was a character on TOS; and likely, this forum will get more traffic from persons interested in Dehner than others would.

While its true the OP could have included a little more content or information to differentiate this thread from the one in Websites, I don't know that it's entirely out of the question to be able to cross-post it here too.

Not spam sir. Yes we interviewed her about the Dehner character in Startrek 2 and we are going to have Larry Nemecek on for an interview a week after the Vegas Con....

Yeah, that would require some actual attention to the details, which is something that JJ really doesn't like when it comes to Star Trek.

Either way, I see no real reason to not support this endeavor. Whether it bears fruit or not, what does anyone have to lose by supporting it?

Agree that she is a lovely lady, despite there not being any proof that the Dehner character will appear in future Trek films. So, hope she gets something out of this.

Sir Rhosis

More like, "tomato, candy bar."

One is healthy and good for you, the other is just fun, but too much will rot your teeth.

Then it's more like "cupcake, candy bar." Either will do fine, it's just a matter of which you prefer.

Ms. Czerwinski is quite the cupcake, herself.

Proof?

Is there any proof that Dr. Dehner won't be in the next Trek film?

Let's enjoy a topic worth discussion as opposed to shooting it down or stating that it exists elsewhere.

There's no proof that anything will or won't be in the next Trek film.

That said, IDW is launching a series of Trek comics based on the relaunched Star Trek movies, with stories developed by the writers of those movies, which tell new versions of stories from the original series. First up is The One About Gary Mitchell. It's vanishingly unlikely that they're going to burn that one off in a comic and then recycle it for the next movie.

Considering that JJ & Co. still only have the same 70 page treatment that they cooked up a year ago, it's not even settled that Kirk and Spock will be in the damn thing. It'd be pretty bloody unlikely that they won't, but at this stage, nothing is for certain.
