Regent Worf.

What did you think about Regent Worf and his Cardassian Teran lap dog-Garak, in Shattered Mirror.

I loved that! The reveal of Worf as the Regent is definitely one of my fondest memories from watching DS9 when it aired.

Shattered Mirror was the last good MU episode, although the MU Worf/MU Garak scenes in "...Emperor's..." were good too.

Worf as an unapologetic, unabashed, Klingon. Very entertaining change of pace. Garak would be Garak in any dimension!

I thought revealing Worf as the Regent was awesome as was seeing Garak as his slave. Does make you wonder though about the Alliance's political structure. For example does the Alliance have sectoral regents or a council?

I believe that they expanded on this in the Trek Expanded Universe of the relaunch. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Worf leader of the Alliance entirely?

Quite enjoyed it actually. I liked the way that some of the characters were just themselves...only moreso than being really mirror opposittes. It almost seemed like the Mirror Universe wasn't the evil one, more like the Hedonistic Universe equivalent of the mainline Trek.

Personally, I'm kind of mixed. I don't have any problem with Regent Worf, but I'm not a huge fan of how DS9 portrayed the MU. I kind of feel like the character only exists because the writers thought you had to make counterparts the opposite of their normal universe selves.
