Redesign the Yellowstone Runabout

I'd have used a normal runabout, but made the nacelles like that one concept version of Voyager, where the nacelles split open and you can see the kewl stuff inside. It doesn't make sense from a tech perspective, but hey, its what the producers would have wanted.

Question: Was the runabout in the episode ever referred to as "Yellowstone class," or was it just called the Yellowstone? If it was the latter, then it may have still been a Danube class but with the modifications, and an NX registry prefix to connote the modifications, but not that it was necessarily a new class.

I don't know about the dialogue itself, but I remember the Okudagram that said "Yellowstone Class" was seen very clearly.

Yep, I just went to check at Trekcore, and sure enough the Okudagram says "Yellowstone Class." However, from looking at the screencaps, I think I've figured out why it's a newer class than the Danube: Apparently it can create a sensor/weapons pod out of thin air right before it gets blown up, when it didn't have one before. Check the 'caps if you don't believe me:p

What if the Yellowstone-class project was indeed for a new kind of vehicle and Harry's responsibility was to work on the new engine type using a standard Danube as a test bed vehicle as the prototype craft was not yet available?
