Recommended Android games?

It seems that the iOS is loaded with quality games, but it's a bit harder to find something decent for the android. Any suggestions?

I have pretty broad gaming tastes, so as long as it's a decent game I'll probably enjoy it. However, I do lean towards games that strive for originality and uniqueness, so anything that'll make me go "Well I've never played anything like this before" is pretty much a must buy for me. Of course, I enjoy clones and ripoffs too.

I don't spend a lot of time gaming on my Android device, but here are some games that I have enjoyed and can recommend trying:

Wind-up Knight
Gravity Project
Riptide GP
YooNinja
Speedx 3d

I have also recently installed a new game called Delver, a 3d dungeon crawler with randomly generated dungeons. It has gotten good reviews, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet myself.

Sleepy Jack
Drop 7
Rocket Bunnies
Pumpkins Vs. Monsters
Angry Birds series.
Fieldrunners
Great Little War Game
Osmos
World of Goo
Defender
They Need to be Fed
Sprinkle
Brain Cube
Yoo Ninja

Angry Birds Space (much, much cooler than the original version. Get the paid version though, you get much better battery life since the app isn't keeping an internet connection open so it can download more ads.)
Apparatus
Collapse (Tetrisy)
Flick Golf
Osmos (really, really great game)
Robo Defense
Rush Hour
Super Monkey Ball 2
Word Mix

And if you're into the series, Mass Effect Infiltrator is pretty good. Not nearly as smooth as on the PC, but whatever, it's $1-6 depending on when you get it.

Honestly, there's more good games than I care to install.

DRisk - a port of the board game Risk. the free version has 2 maps and lots of options. If you buy it you get many more maps to work with and network play.

Osmos
Dead Space
Turbofly 3D
Wargames: WOPR
Winds of Steel
Paris Must Be Destroyed
Gravitrex
Tron GL
Another World
Riptide GP
gravity Project
Destroy Gunners series
Modern Combat 3
Nova
Shadow Gun
Dark Knight Rises
Dead Trigger
Oscura
Rebel Attack
Adventures of Tintin

The Kairosoft games are great, and they have embraced Android and iOS. They usually release a different game for both platforms. For example the last three games released on iOS by this company are Cafeteria Nipponica, Dungeon Village, and Epic Astro Story while the last three on Android are Kairobotica, The Sushi Spinnery, and Pocket Clothier. And if a game comes out only on one, it eventually comes to the other.

The game I recommend is GameDevStory. Its the first game they released. Most of the games have demos, but don't forget that you can try any game on Android for 30 minutes and request a refund. But just search Kairosoft on Play.

The only downside to them is some games are just repurposed versions of other games.

Uniwar- Turn based Strategy Game in the vein of advanced wars and star craft, always online games to play, can email turns back and forth, can play against your friends on iphones.

Star Traders RPG- Cool sandbox style space exploration trading game, phenomenal support from devs. free version has weeks of play value, paid version...well I've been playing for a year and I still love it. Game is ridiculous cheap for what you get, cannot say enough good things about the devs. on this one.

Carnivore Dinosaur Hunter- cool first person hunting game, free version is pretty basic, but if you buy both add ons for .99 each it turns out to be pretty solid.

Steambirds- Really Good Steampunk aerial dogfighting game, cool campaign and good missions, unfortunately no multiplayer or skirmish type missions so not much to go back to once you beat it.
