Reaper

I was glad to see Gladys again. I was fearful of a widespread reboot that would take away all the charming bits of the show.

A little bit soap opera with all the personal relationship stuff, but they also moved the story forward.

 Ray Wise excellent as always.

Does this mean no more Ted the manager?

The escaped soul was even more of a b-plot than usual, captured before the show was half over.

The devil crushing the demon was cool.

The rabbit was odd, because clearly it was a domesticated one and probably belonged to someone.

Well, I watched it. I have absolutely no idea what is going on as the previous week there was some basketball game that they showed so I think I missed the first episode of the season. It was alright but again I feel clueless about what is going on. Last time I watched it, there was some concern that Sam was the son of the devil but it wasnt proved yet. And I think they had buried his real dad alive.

The mom dug the dad up but Sam still thinks he's dead (you probably saw that from season 1). Satan acts like Sam's his son but nothing is proven.

After a month long road trip, Sam and his pals got evicted and moved into Sock's mom's house (she and her hubbie are on extended honeymoon) with his stepdad's daughter, whom Sock has the hots for.

Last episode while capturing a lot of escaped souls, Sam runs into the guy who got out of a deal with the Devil (or got out of hell legitimately). The guy stunned Sam and fled, though.

Watched it - the Sam plotline is still chugging along nicely. Bored by Sock and his Asian cliche "sister." Andi sure is liberal minded - does she know her possible future father-in-law is the Prince of Darkness but all she cares about is getting Daddykins to cut loose sonny boy from the family business long enough for a trip to Malta? Not the least bit concerned about, say, her future kiddies sprouting horns and 666 tatoos?

Sam pulling rank on Gladys was a hoot. :D

According to Renew/Cancel guy, Reaper's a Keeper. Let's see how accurate his predictions are - this one is a close call, I'd say.

I kept expecting it to turn into a demon.

Hey I just realized that his parents are gone from the show now. Maybe they'll be back occasionally as guest-stars. Anybody else think they're showing Sam going down the path of corruption? He seems happy to throw around his "son of the devil" schitck willy nilly now.

I thought it was pretty good. My only question is about the demon that is into Sam. Is it a female demon and that is why turns into the gorgeous blond OR does it turn into a blond just because "it" thinks that is what Sam would like?

Because the demon sure had a male sounding voice.

It had moments but in the end it felt a little "setup-y" and wasn't quite as satisfying as last weeks. I did find Sock's sister's suitor funny, could they get any slimier.

The Devil is just perfect for that guy (I gotta look up his name), I imagine he's never had a better role and probably never will, anything else, he's probably just some guy. Prince from Lexx is another one like that. My sister was watching some Lifetime movie and "Prince" was like the chick's well-meaning boss and I just felt sorry for him.

I'm probably asking for trouble here but could someone explain the "Asian cliche" thing to me? I'm not quite sure that I get what everyone is referring to.

Could've done without the air-humping "dance moves", but my son loves this show. Like Chuck, it is better than it has a right to be.

The Devil is Ray Wise and yeah, he's a hoot!

What happened to Benji's girlfriend from last season, I don't remember them breaking up?

I'm really curious about what's up with Sam's parents.

I have one question: is Sam's mom still presumed to be his bio-mom? Did she do the nasty with Satan? Doesn't that weird Sam out a little?

I'm kind of curious why Sam hasn't confronted his mom, especially now that he thinks his Dad (the first one) is dead.
