Reaper will be back if the CW survives. So far the ratings this season are okay - 90210 is stumbling, but Smallville and Supernatural debuted strong - so I'd say we'll see Sam & the gang back in Jan.
Anyway if the CW tanks, it probably wouldn't happen quite that fast.

lol got to love how this forum has been predicting the downfall of the CW, ever since it started, and yeah its not doing as well as it could, but its lasted alot longer than people on here predicted.

I wouldn't get too sanguine about the CW. It's still in serious trouble, and given the fact that they are targetting a market - young women - who have abandoned TV in favor of Facebook etc, their success is very much open to question. They simply may not have a viable strategy.
But they definitely will survive the year. Next year, I'm not taking any bets in their favor.

CW just extended 90210 to a full 22 episode pick up. So a vote of confidence there. We need 90210 and Gossip Girl to succeed if we want more Reaper, which has a 13 episode order for its second season.
