Really cool F22 airshow vid.

The agility of that plane is amazing. It almost seems as if it operates under a different set of physical laws.

This is really an amazing plane, shame it's getting killed by the Obama admin.

Rightfully so.. even after being put into active service it still didn't meet some demands set before putting it on active duty, the stealth coating was damaged by friggin' rain (!) and it couldn't communicate with other planes at first and on top of it almost every plane is handcrafted because standardization failed and many parts had to be handcrafted into the plane increasing cost, maintenance and problems when exchaning parts.

That plane is one huge design flaw after the next and one can only hope that the JSF 35 will not be plagued by the same problems.

The Obama administration did the right thing by pulling the plug and investing the money where it can do more good.

I thought that the problem with the stealth coating was with sand in Iraq, bearing in mind that the f22 wasn't designed with Iraq in mind.

As for the issues with standardization failing, I thought that was do to some budget cuts and late stage design changes, and would have been fixed with the run two aircraft.
