Not sure if this counts, exactly, since it isn't a place that *reminded* me of a game so much as it *was the place from the game*, but back in October of 2010, my family and I went to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" in Washington, DC, and we also visited a bunch of the museums and monuments on The National Mall. I very successfully navigated us to most of the places we were going without need of a map, because I recognized most stuff from an extensive play-through of Fallout 3.![]()
