re: Danielle (probable minor spoiler for S5)

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral

This isn't much of a spoiler, more of a foregone conclusion/necessity, but TV Guide's cover story on Lost implies that there will be a flashback to a 20-years-younger Danielle - we "haven't seen the last of Danielle Rousseau, though we may not recognize the actress playing her in new episodes."

Any thoughts on casting? If the character has already been cast, go ahead and post it here - I'm curious.

Oh and another sorta-spoiler tidbit: the old lady played by Fionnula Flanagan "turns out to be more important than you ever dreamed."

Hmm, so...she's the human incarnation of the island itself?

Just a few days to go! :bolian: :D :techman:

Not surprising given Mira Furlan was written off because she was apparently not thay enamored of Hawaii anymore. Plus, given all the time mumbo-jumbo it actually makes the most sense.

I dunno who they should cast. Tania Raymonde is a good likeness ;)

An interview with one of the producers/creators/whomever from season 1 said that someone IS the island, but for whatever reason no one talks about this little bit of information.

Didn't know if you remembered that.

I hope she does speak French... :p

I think at that time everybody pointed fingers at Waaaaaalt!

Depending on how that's carried out, it could be incredibly awesome or incredibly lame. Time will tell; if it's true that is.

Since Mira is making another appearance, I don't see why it was necessary for her character to be killed off. She could have easily just gone into hiding again.
