Rare Photos Nov/Dec 2015 + Stocking Stuffers!

A few days late thanks to my awful memory (it's swiss cheese sometimes, I swear!) but better late than never. ;)

Favorites:
1st Row, Right: Potentially exclusive (you can never be certain) behind the scenes photo from TUC of Jimmy Doohan, Nick Meyer, and the assassins - sent to me by the wife of one of said assassins. ;) Theoretically? This photo may never have been seen before right now. Theoretically.

2nd Row, Left: Lunch break on the DS9 sound-stage with Quark, Rom and Nog from the very early days (guessing by Quark's incorrect nose!).

4th Row, Left: One of the very few times any actor from Star Trek ever appeared in costume at an event, Leonard Nimoy in a 1967 parade in Oregon. (Which I incorrectly file-named 1968, damnit!)

4th Row, Right: Test footage from 1977's aborted "Star Trek Phase II" series.

Stocking Stuffers:

1st Row, Center: The late, great Jimmy Doohan in uniform from his service days during WW2.

3rd Row, Right: If you've ever heard of "The Bicycle Story" concerning Shatner and Nimoy during the days of filming TOS, well, here you go folks: Leonard on said Bicycle!

5th Row, Center: Brent Spiner in full Data gear reads the paper on location in the Ba'ku village during filming of Insurrection.

6th Row, Left: I broke the "tiny images" rule of Stocking Stuffers because I really wanted to share this one. It's been seen before in Ultimately Human, but this copy is of pristine quality. Too good not to circulate! ;):techman:

Let me know your favorites! Keeps my morale going!

Great stuff as always, Frontier!

Lunch break on the DS9 sound-stage with Quark, Rom and Nog from the very early days (guessing by Quark's incorrect nose!).
I'd say you're 100% right on it being Emissary filming, but I'm having trouble spotting Nog. I do see a tiny Broik growing out of Quark's neck though. ;)

Love the ladies of Trek and Lt. Hawk (Neal McDonough was gorgeous in his youth).

Odo pealing his face off is just disturbing but can't look away.

Awesome set of pictures this time around! I love that shot of Kirk/Shat sitting on his desk. I think it's quite evocative. I will never get tired of seeing the picture of Shat, Nimoy and Kelley embracing and laughing, and it's great to have it in such resolution. And it's a while since I've seen the ladies of Trek spread (which I have in a TV Guide, or something, from back in the day). It's a shame that Gates and Marina couldn't/wouldn't be there, too. Thank you as always for your great work. :)

As always, I appreciate the time and care you take in choosing our photos, Frontier. Thank you!

The ladies of Trek is a fantastic find, as is T'pau. Spock on the candy cigarettes was a trip down memory lane. :vulcan:

That smile on him kinda reminds me of this...

Is the guy in the Phase II photo from Zardoz? I can't help thinking of Sean Connery. :rommie:

My eyesight has to be bad. I can't believe missed this entry.

My favourites, this time around:

2nd Row, Left: Lunchtime with the DS9 cast. I wonder how Mark Allen Shepherd managed to eat through Morn's mask,

3rd Row, Left: Kirk sitting on his desk, and

4th Row, Centre: Auberjonois pulling off Odo's mask. Sooo creepy.

My favourite Stocking Stuffers:

1st Row, Center, Lt Jimmy Doohan, Canadian Artillery Officer,

2nd Row, Right: Ladies of Trek, and

6th Row, Left: Nimoy, Shatner, and Kelley laughing. I'm printing this one out and it's going up on the wall.

Honourable Mention:

Stocking Stuffer: 4th Row, Centre: Star Trek Sweet Cigarettes....Product of the times, indeed.

Always appreciated, Frontier. Already looking forward to the next edition.
