Rare Photos for July 2009!

Many thanks. The one of Majel on the transporter pad from The Cage is a real stunner. Never saw that one before!
 
To add a thought, a lot of these photos have more impact for me when I realize that many of the actors and actresses we have come to know and love have passed on. I was rewatching The Cage the other day (one of my all time faves) and in one scene were Jeff Hunter, Majel, and Susan Oliver are all talking it suddenly occurred to me that all three of them were no longer with us. A very sad, poignant moment for me.
 
I've just realised how well they re-created the TOS aesthetic on that picture with Chris Pine. Looking through the pictures that span the decades, it's amazing how the aesthetics have been carried on across the years in all Trek's various incarnations.

What's going to be odd is, as the next generation gets into Trek, most of them will be watching shows with actors who've long ago passed. My nephew is 3, and by the time he can grasp Trek truly, I fear most of the TOS cast will be gone.
 
Just been adding some more stuff to coming articles. Lots of goodies coming! Lots of goodies. ;)
 
That one of Levar, where's it from? He looks so young there. LOVE the one of McDowell too.
