Ranking Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies [using the CBOOIMDB system]

Here's how my system works (each category was weighted equally [25%]):

C = Critics rating [taken from Rotten Tomatoes]
BO = Box Office [this represents the gross of the film adjusted for inflation; I used the CPI Inflation Calculator]
O = number of Oscar points [1 point for an Oscar nomination; 3 points for an Oscar win]
IMDB = rating on IMDB

What we've learned so far:

Kurt Russell Top 3
01. Tombstone
02. Silkwood
03. Miracle

Tom Cruise Top 3
01. Rain Man
02. Minority Report
03. Jerry Maguire

Arnold Schwarzenegger
01. Terminator 2: Judgment Day [highest box office gross, adjusted for inflation; most Oscar points; highest IMDB rating]
02. Total Recall
03. True Lies
04. Predator
05. The Terminator [highest Rotten Tomatoes rating]
06. Conan the Barbarian
07. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
08. Twins
09. Kintergarten Cop
10. Eraser

11. Commando
12. The Running Man
13. Last Action Hero
14. Red Heat
15. The 6th Day
16. End of Days
17. Batman & Robin
18. Jingle All the Way
19. Conan the Destroyer
20. Junior

21. Collateral Damage
22. Raw Deal
23. Red Sonja

The Top 5 would've totally been my pick. Maybe even Top 6. Not sure about T3 though.

Interesting.

I can understand why it wound up at No. 11, but I personally would have rated Commando at No. 7. That movie is a cult classic.

I also probably would have rated Kindergarten Cop more highly--possibly even No. 8.

As for the rest--oh, man. I'd forgotten just how many bad movies Schwarzenegger has starred in.

I am a great fan of his more lighter work, such as Jingle all the way and Kindergarten cop. I would place those higher than Predator. A movie I don't even remember watching.

Total Recall is in the top 5 in every category:

Rotten Tomatoes (3rd): 79%
Box Office (4th): 197 million
Oscar points (2nd): 1 win; 2 other nominations
IMDB rating (4th): 7.4

I really like Total Recall. I'm just disappointed The Running Man isn't higher on the list - that movie was a lot of fun.

I agree with the Top 7 and I would put Running Man at #8. However, that is my Stephen King bias showing, especially since it was very little like the Bachman book.
