1. Battle for Earth. best scene-Enterprise drops out of Wrap to fire at the Narada (Star Trek 2009)



2. George Kirk dies , Kirk is born (Star Trek 2009)


3. The Enterprise is destroyed (Star Trek Beyond)


4. A Tie. First appearance of Spock Prime (Star Trek 2009) and the Introduction of York Town (Star Trek Beyond)


5. Uhura comforts Spock after the loss of Vulcan (Star Trek 2009)

6. Vulcan is destroyed by a Blackhole (Star Trek 2009)


7. A tie. Pike dares Kirk to do better than his dad (Star Trek 2009) and Kirk loosing his Captain Status and is demoted by Pike (Star Trek Into Darkness). In fact ...just all the Pike and Kirk moments in both movies.


8. Spock choose Starfleet academy over the Vulcan Science Academy (star trek 2009)


9. Kirk's Birthday party and the reconstruction of the new Enterprise (Star Trek Beyond)

1) The opening of ST'09, Robau and George Kirk.

2) ^ that really about it for me, can't think of anything else that qualifies as a "top moment."

 

I'd even go so far as saying the 09 cold open is the best 12 minutes of the whole franchise.

I would have the same first 2 as OP. For my third I would add the STID scene where the Enterprise is shot out of warp.

Though not popular or maybe even possible, I would also add the scene where Kirk and Bones jump in the water and swim to the Enterprise. The first time I saw STID I was like "what the heck is that in the water". Then you see NCC 1701 on the nacelle and I was blown away.
