Rank Trek Doctors

Nightcreature

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
I've haven't seen this topic done in awhile. Rank the main Star Trek doctors from favorite to least favorite. I'll start with mine.

1. Dr. Leonard McCoy (TOS, TAS)
2. The Doctor also known as the EMH (VOY)
3. Dr. Beverly Crusher (TNG)
4. Dr. Julian Bashir (DS9)
5. Dr. Katherine Pulaski (TNG)
6. Phlox (ENT, lol)

Just to explain myself, I thought the Doctor on Voyager showed the most personality out of all the doctors except McCoy. He was hilarious and his sarcastic tone was unmatched. Picardo did a fantasic job with his role. Crusher is 3rd simply because she is the best looking doctor of them all. She is really pretty. Phlox irritated me but then again, I couldn't stand Enterprise.

My favorite was Dr Bashir. Not only is he a genetic freak that makes him a genius but he's a Bond fan like me!

By like
1.) Bones
2.) Bashir
3.) TIE EMH and Crusher
4.) Phlox
5.) Pulaski

By skill
1.) EMH
2.) McCoy
3.) TIE Bashir & Phlox
4.) TIE Crusher & Pulaski

McCoy, Bashir, EMH, Pulaski. Crusher gets on my nerves. She seems to be too mild and unaroused a person to take on harsh and extreme medical emergencies. The others I can see throwing themselves into it, fighting for a patient, willing to get their hands dirty.... In Phlox's case he's probably happy when hip-deep in people's entrails. He's sort of a funny case.

I guess by who I'd like to have treat me

1. Bashir
2. EMH
3. Crusher
4. McCoy
5. Phlox
6. Pulaski

1. Dr. Katherine Pulaski (TNG)

3. The Doctor also known as the EMH (VOY)
4. Dr. Beverly Crusher (TNG)
5. Phlox (ENT)
6. Dr. Julian Bashir (DS9)

Hmm, tough one, I like the Doctors in each series. I'll go with

Phlox
Emh
Bashir
McCoy
Crusher
Pulaski

Not a slight against any of them (especially Bones), they were all very close.

I love the doctors. With the exception of the TNG doctors, they were in my top two favorite characters on each of their respective shows.

McCoy
Bashir
EMH
Phlox
Pulaski
Crusher

1. Dr. Leonard McCoy (TOS, TAS)
2. Phlox (ENT, lol)
3. Dr. Julian Bashir (DS9)
4. Dr. Beverly Crusher (TNG)
5. Dr. Katherine Pulaski (TNG)

Gave up on Voyager (worst Star Trek series cast, period, imo); so I can't rate the Holo Doctor.

OK, I'm also going to include the doctors from the two pilots, Boyce and Piper. In order of most to least liked, they are:

-McCoy (still the best)
-Bashir (arrogant yet personable, I'd enjoy having a drink with him)
-EMH (sarcastic, crusty, but lovable)
-Phlox (weird and fun)
-Boyce (avuncular and trustworty)
-Crusher (meh)
-Pulaski (teerible McCoy clone)
-Piper (the worst)

RR

In order of whom I'd trust to treat me:

1. Crusher
2. Bashir
3. Pulaski
4. McCoy
5. EMH

I never watched Ent, so I dunno about Phlox.

First, I figure that all of them are technically extremely gifted physicians. I'll also discount differences due to there obviously being more medical knowledge with Drs. Bashir and Crusher than McCoy and Phlox. It largely has to do with their other individual qualities. Who I would want to see would depend much on my mood at the time. I always saw McCoy as the more fatherly doctor figure. Bashir would be the one I'd most like to hang out with as a peer. (I'm a few years older than he is.) I find a wisdom in Phlox that I think I could realy gain from. Crusher and Pulaski, I just find annoying, although at least Crusher wasn't bad eye candy. The EMH, I'd trust him as a doctor, and would probalby like him personally, but I'd be worried about some kind of computer virus or power outage that would affect how he treats me.

I'm glad I actually read this thread. At first I thought it had to do with how bad were the doctors' stench.

1.McCoy
2.Crusher
3.EMH
4.Phlox
5.Bashir
6.Pulaski

actually it's a toss up for third between phlox and EMH for me.
