Ranger's Apprentice Book 7

Hi there, I just finished reading books 1-4. I was about to start book 5 when I heard the events of Book 7 take place between books 4 and 5.

Would anybody recommend that I read book 7 first before starting book 5?

Thanks and I am new to the series so please avoid any spoilers.
