Nowhere Man

Commodore
I live in Maryland, but couldn't make it, I have plans tonight that would not allow me to be back in time. Watching it now, totaly awsome!

I'm watching/listening to it, and I'm enjoying the Roots and John Legend. Their album Wake Up is great.

I don't know why but it didn't occur to me they'd be broadcasting this, I just figured there'd be coverage on the shows.

Hmmm, they're doing the National Anthem now. Too bad The Dixie Chicks aren't doing it, the Superbowl version was the best ever.

Neat to see the Mythbusters there, that was totally unexpected. Watching that giant wave and everyone jumping at the same time was pretty cool.

I loved the Star Trek references and R2D2 appearance.

I wanted to be there in person, but for a variety of reasons I didn't make it. Watched the whole thing on CSPAN instead.

Ugh, I had to work while this was on. I really excited when I learned it was going to be televised. I'm hoping they'll put the highlights up on You Tube or Comedy Central or something.

Watching the TiFaux'ing of it. So 20+ minutes of shitty R&B/Rap music (not a fan), a cute bit with the Mythbusters and finally over half an hour into the damn thing John Stewart takes the stage? Not impressed so far.

It's re-airing on C-SPAN around 8pm EST.

CSPAN at least was up-front about the fact that Stewart wouldn't be appearing until around 1pm. The first hour was pretty much just music and Mythbusters.

Frankly I appreciated that; even though I didn't try to get there, Route 66 was backed up all the way to Fairfax County at the least. Anyone trying to drive in would have been late.
