Jan Kuehnemund (born Janice Lynn Kuehnemund; November 18, 1961 – October 10, 2013) was an American hard rock guitarist best known for her work with Vixen. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Jan is the original founding member of the band. Her trademark guitar playing can be heard on many of the Vixen songs. She died on October 10, 2013 from cancer

Sorry to hear this. RIP... I wasn't much of a Vixen fan, but I saw them open for Bad Company back in the late 80s, and I was pretty impressed with them live.
