R.I.P. Gerald Fried at 95

That's a super cool fact. So she was in the very first episode and the third to last! But I of course was referring to actors with speaking roles. Because I suppose we'll never know the name of every extra that was ever on the show.
The weird thing is I always assumed that the lady who played Zora was probably not very attractive but obviously we now see that she was rather pretty.

I was just looking at Memory Alpha, which states that the crewwoman sitting at the bridge science station (despite Pike's statement about not being used to having a woman on the bridge) was played by Carol Daniels Dement, better known for playing the "evil" Zora (under makeup) in "The Savage Curtain". She is apparently still alive at age 87.

I did NOT see that coming!

Sandra Gimpel (83), who supposedly played a Talosian is still alive . . . .
She is rather better known for being the one inside the salt vampire suit.

But to go back on-topic, seeing this makes it even more poignant that Fried's "Amok Time" score was quoted extensively in the score for SNW:"Spock Amok."
