R.I.P. Christopher Tolkien at 95

    The son of the master has left us. Christopher Tolkien passes at age 95.

    Story

    Some say he milked his father's works for all they were worth with all the Lost Tales books and subsequent novels.

    Not me. It was a nice look into what became the stories we know and love. I owned most of those books at one point. Lots of great reference material if nothing else. I built some nice Elvish dictionaries from all those appendicies.

    Sad - but not unexpected. 95 years is a very long run.
