I'm glad his voice will live on in recordings. I saw Andy at his theater in Branson when I was a kid.

First album I ever bought was one of his. RIP sweet sir. The sounds in heaven have just gotten a lovely boost.

I have to think back to the look of total joy on Nelson Muntz's face on The Simpsons when Bart had the fake ID and they rented the car for a road trip and saw Andy Williams in Branson.

RIP MR. Williams.Of course, my most memorable moment of one of his songs was in Fletch: "Moooooooooon River. Thanks Doc, using the whole fist?"

While his voice was great and he seemed a classy guy, he did foist the Osmonds on an unsuspecting world.
