Questions About The Foreign Box Office...

1. In China Star Trek is the second most successful American movie this year after Transformers according to Boxofficemojo. It has grossed about 8.5 million dollars over there.

But how many tickets did it sell? I have a hard time believing that a movie ticket is 7-8 dollars (the average price in the US according to Boxofficemojo) in China. Anyone know the average price in dollars?

2. And did Star Trek open in Denmark? It´s not listed on the yearly chart. It´s strange since the movie opened in every other Scandinavian country.

It was scheduled to open on May 8, and may have actually opened a day or two early, as happened in a number of other countries.
